Come on a weekend with us which is solely about re-filling your well.
This weekend is a chance to escape from the Modern World completely and do exactly what you choose to do.
You may choose to sharpen you Bushcraft skills, or just sharpen your knives. You may choose to share your skills with other interested Men, or join other men in learning a new skill.
Practice making cord, tracking wildlife or just lie in your hammock. It’s entirely up to you.
The full weekend is only £195.
This includes everything you need that is not on the ‘what to bring’ tab.

This weekend is all about you.
On these weekends you will have the chance to do exactly what you want, as long as it doesn’t involve anything with a Wi-fi connection, or preferably a battery, with the exception of head-torches. We will gather a s a group of men who simply want to enjoy being in the Wild, with a great opportunity to practice our Bushcraft, read a book, learn a new skill or be creative.
There is ample opportunity for Men to share their skills with other men, or work collectively on improving their skills (the bow-drill is a particular favourite), or simply be alone with their own project.
What we cover on the weekend is entirely up to the individual man, but the format will typically be:
We meet at the campsite, in the afternoon, do some introductions and then go to set up our personal shelters and relax. We will then gather, cook and share our evening meal (all food is provided as part of the weekend), and talk about what each of us plans to do with their time that weekend. This is when a Man can offer to share his skills, to the other Men on the weekend.
We will start the day with a good breakfast and a discussion on the agenda for the day. Men will go off to pursue their individual pursuits as they see fit. We will gather at some point for lunch, unless Men want to take a lunch with them so as to continue their project undisturbed.
We will gather in the eventing to prepare and cook our evening meal as a group of men, and enjoy it around our camp-fire. Then, as happens on every Stone Circle weekend, we will have the opportunity to share what’s going on for us as men. As usual, no man will be forced to talk, but every man will be asked to listen.
On Sunday we will again start the day with a fine breakfast, and then spend the time until lunch time finishing off our projects. We will then return to camp, prepare lunch and then turn our attention to leaving no trace of our passing.
We will finally have chance to talk over what we have achieved that weekend, if we so desire, to show our work to the other Men, or keep it to ourselves. The objective of the weekend is to recharge ourselves by following our own pursuits, and for any given Man that may be done in solitude without any need to share.
We believe that the best way to combat the pressures of Modern Life is by getting time away, for a short while, to recharge and get back to who we are.
Now that we are skilled and equipped Stone Circle Men, we can venture out into the wild as individuals, brought together by a collective need or wish to do a body of work, explore something new, learn a skill or take time to practice our Bushcraft.
This weekend course will allow you to practice any of the skills you have already learned on a Stone Circle weekend, or through other Bushcraft training as you see fit. What you plan to do, and how much of it you achieve is entirely up to you. There is no agenda.
We will return to our Modern Lives, recharged and rested, having spent time doing exactly what we felt we needed to do that weekend, and nothing more.
This weekend is for Men over 25 who feel the need to ‘re-fill their well’ for a weekend and do only what makes them happy and content.
This weekend is specifically for Stone Circle Men, who have completed both ‘Intro’ weekends (Escape and Explore) and have completed the relevant ‘Seasons’ weekend (or are proficient and prepared) relevant to the season in which this adventure weekend is taking place.
We use a number of locations around the UK, chosen for their wildness and their privacy. For the Adventure Weekends, we rotate around a number of different sites across the UK, so that we are never too far to travel. These sites are chosen to be wild and provide a good source of natural resources fro us to work with to give the maximum opportunity to practice Bushcraft. The event booking page will have some details of the facilities and resources on-hand at any particular location such as types of wood or minerals, scenery, a body of water and so-forth.
The specific location of an event will depend on the date of the event, please click on the ‘When is it?’ tab to see which location is on which date.
The ‘Adventure’ weekends are all regarded as being ‘self-sufficient’ weekends, with the exception of food and water.
Every Man is expected to turn up at the site with everything they need to be comfortable and an effective working member of the team, for the duration of the weekend. this includes all clothing and kit suitable for the location and expected weather conditions.
Stone Circle will provide all the food and sustenance needed for the weekend. You are expected to bring any specialist tools and materials for the project you wish to pursue as long as you are proficient in their use, suitably insured and accept responsibility for their safety. We cannot guarantee that any resources will be available at any given location, if you have any questions about what might be available that isn’t on the event booking page, then please get in touch, and we’ll endeavour to find out.
